On-Line SculptCyle Auction - Starting August 15th Starting on August 15, 2008, MDCA will begin the SculptCycle Auction online and continue at the SculptCycle Auction and Gala on October 4th. Learn more.
Bicycle Show at the Artisans Hand Craft Gallery- Throughout September Throughout the month of September, photographs and mixed media celebrating the parts and pleasures of bicycles at the Artisans Hand Gallery, 89 Main Street.
Unicycle!--September 24th Learn to unicycle and hear about local unicyclist Bill Merrylees unicycle race across Nova Scotia. Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
Montpelier Art and Artisan Cheese Walk - Friday, September 26th, 4 to 8pm Enjoy an evening of art at over 25 venues and make another view of the SculptCycles before SculptCycle Auction.
October 2008
SculptCycle Auction and Gala Saturday, October 4th, 5 to 8pm Evening reception with live music and food to live auction SculptCycles at the TW Wood Gallery. Featuring auctioner Willem Lange and music by Michael Arnowitt . Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

June - September 2008 People’s Choice Award Voting: Ballots available in downtown Montpelier locations and SculptCycle events. Voting to continue through September and winner to be announced at SculptCycle Art Auction.

June 2008
Montpelier Fashion Week, June 2 to June 7th: A week a fashion events in downtown Montpelier including an Art Walk, grand fashion show , and SculptCycle Opening Celebration.
Montpelier Art Walk - Bike & Art Collide - Friday, June 6th, 4 to 8pm Enjoy an evening of art and see newly unveiled SculptCycles. Maps with SculptCycle locations and sponsor recognition available at downtown Montpelier locations .
Opening Celebration with SculptCycle Tour - Saturday, June 7th, 1 to 4pm
SculptCycle Opening Reception - June 7th, 4 to 7pm Opening reception to recognize SculptCycle artists and sponsors on the Vermont State House lawn with live music provided by the Colin McCaffrey Swing Band with Allison Mann and food/drink provided by local restaurants, including: Ariel’s Riverside Café and Bar, Positive Pie 2, Capitol Grounds, Subway, Royal Orchard Thai, Julio’s Cantina, Nutty Steph’s Granola, and Morse Farm Sugarworks. SculptCycle Judge announces artist awards.
Ride for Youth: Eco Tour 2008 - Sunday, June 22nd, 9am at Morse Farm Washington County Youth Service Bureau’s Transitional Living Program and Athletes for New Idea’s Magic House have joined together to sponsor a cycling and walking event to raise awareness and funds to meet the needs of homeless and disadvantaged youth. More info at Onion River Sports.

July 2008 Montpelier Independence Day Celebration - July 3rd Independence Day events include a parade and fireworks. 5th Annual Onion River Century Ride - Saturday, July 26th, 7am Benefits the Kellogg-Hubbard Library!! 113 miles or 100 km (60 miles). Montpelier Art and Local Fresh Food Walk - Friday, August 8th, 4 to 8pm Bike/walk through an evening of art at over 25 venues. Enjoy an evening of art, food, dining, shopping, music, theater, film, and restaurant specials.
