Montpelier SculptCycle 2008 Carbon Footprint: SculptCycle 2008 is commited to reduce its contribution to global warming - the most pressing environmental issue of our time. SculptCycle 2008 has estimated its "CO2 footprint" to build 25 SculptCycles and for SculptCycle events planned for summer and fall. SculptCycle 2008 has committed to energy efficiency by using recycled bicycle parts to build SculptCycles and by encouraging bicycle transportation. SculptCycle 2008 will work (through collected donations) to offset the CO2 produced by the rest of its energy use. SculptCycle 2008 chose NativeEnergy to provide its CO2 offsets because it wanted to help build new renewable energy projects with social and economic benefits. |
